Former mill and miller's house straddling the River Coln. C18, mill converted for domestic use c1935. Coursed squared and dressed limestone with dressed stone quoins; stone slate roof; one rendered stack, another restored C20 in artificial dressed stone. Long rectangular plan miller's house at the north end. C20 lean-to extensions at the rear, not of special interest. Two storeys and attic to both parts. Irregular fenestration: 2 and 3-light stone- mullioned casements (several inserted early-mid C20); two 12-pane sashes to the right-hand bay; one single-light and one 3-light wooden casement to the house part; two 2-light hipped half dormers. Tail race emerges from flat-arched opening under the far left-hand bay (round-headed arch at the rear). C20 plank door with fillets and a projecting gabled canopy on brackets at the centre of the former miller's house. C20 double segmental-headed glass door to former mill. Gable-end and axial stack. Machinery removed from interior. Interior not inspected. (V.C.H. Glos. VIII, p31)
