Description

Quarry Hill Cottage is a former detached cottage, now attached to Merlin Cottage. It dates from the 17th century and features an ashlar facade with a stone slate roof and stone stacks that have been repaired in brick. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a single-storey lean-to at the right gable end. There are two 19th-century plank doors with thumb latches, both set within rustic 19th-century gabled porches that have decorative brush wood panels. The cottage has gable end and axial stacks, and a roll saddle is located at the left gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
