Description
This large barn and byre, located 10 meters east of Manor Farm, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of squared limestone built to courses and features a limestone slate roof with flat coping on the gable ends, as well as a roll-cross finial on the right gable end. The barn includes a threshing floor with opposing double doors on the left and a byre on the right. The double doors have segmental heads, and there are six pigeon holes outlined in brick near the apex of the left gable end. Access to the byre is provided through a plank door at the rear. Inside, the barn has six bays, with some original tie beams that include diagonal struts.
