Description

The gate piers and boundary wall at Hidcote Manor date from the 18th century and are located northeast of the manor. There are two sets of square ashlar limestone piers, which feature fielded panels and moulded tops with vase finials. The piers near the former chapel have pilasters with console brackets at the top and pyramidal stones at the base. The double gates, each consisting of six panels, are 20th-century replicas of the originals. This property is managed by the National Trust.
