Description
This cottage, likely built in the early 20th century and designed by Lawrence Johnston, features limestone rubble construction with a thatched roof and a 20th-century gable end stack on the left. There is a timber-clad extension on the left side. The layout includes two rooms with a single-storey thatched extension at the rear right and on the right gable end. The main body of the cottage is one storey with an attic, which includes two dormers with thatched hoods. On the ground floor to the right, there is a two-light stone-mullioned window, while all other windows are 20th-century casements with leaded lights. The central entrance has a partially glazed 20th-century door. Inside, there is an inglenook fireplace with a bressumer. This property is owned by the National Trust.
