Description

This is a headstone located about 12 meters southeast of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of slate. The headstone is designed as a single piece but is intended to appear as part of an adjoining pair, featuring a double curved top with shouldered corners. The inscription commemorates Roger Cole, who died in 1776, and Jane Cole, who died in 1785.
