Description
This is a range of farm buildings located about 15 meters northeast of West Raddon Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid-19th century. Constructed from stone rubble, the buildings feature a slate roof that is hipped at the ends. The two adjoining structures form the eastern side of the farmyard in front of the farmhouse and are two storeys high.
The shippon has two entrances on the front, both under flat arches, along with four ground floor windows also beneath flat arches and two loft entrances. The cartshed is attached to the north and is slightly set back, featuring a cart entrance under a segmental arch, flanked by two smaller entrances—one with a flat arch and the other segmental. There is also one loft entrance. This range of buildings is part of a well-preserved farmyard group.
