Description
East Raddon Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of cob and has a slate-hung front with a slate roof that is gabled at both ends. The building features a large projecting stack at the left gable end and another stack at the right gable end. The layout consists of two rooms with a through passage plan and it stands two storeys high. The front is approximately symmetrical with three windows and includes a 20th-century gabled porch at the center. The windows are 19th-century two- and three-light casements, each with six panes per light, although the ground floor window on the right has been replaced with a 20th-century casement. Inside, there are exposed cross beams, and the fireplaces are partially blocked, which may be hiding earlier features.
