Description

BERE FERRERS CORNWALL STREET SX 46 NW 2/23 No. 6 - GV II

Shop and adjoining house. Circa mid C19. Stucco walls. Gable ended slate roof. Brick lateral stack at rear of left-hand side and at right gable end. Shop to right-hand side of building, house to left, probably double depth plan, with later rear additions. 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front with original 20 pane shop window to the right with pilaster either side and projecting cornice. Immediately to its left is probably original marginal glazed door with a pilaster flanking it which forms a doorcase with the one to its right. Beyond it is a contemporary 20 pane sash window with a C19 plank door on its left. 2 similar sash windows on first floor. Interior not inspected.
