Description

The Williams headstone, dated 1788, is located approximately 3 metres to the south-west of the south porch of the Church of St Mary in Bratton Clovelly. This headstone commemorates Mary Williams of Lamerton and is made of slate. It features a straight head with scrolled sides and is adorned with a carved winged angel's head at the top, along with a rhyming epitaph below.
