Description

This is a barn located approximately 15 metres southwest of Hartleigh Barton, likely built in the 18th century. It features cob walls and a thatch roof, which is hipped at the right end and gabled at the left. The barn has a rectangular plan, with a shippon or row of animal sheds on the left and a threshing barn on the right. A 19th-century lean-to has been added to the right end. The barn is a single storey with an asymmetrical front that has irregularly spaced doorways, including two narrow ones on the left and a wide cart entrance on the right, along with the lean-to. The interior has not been inspected, but the roof structure may be of interest.
