Description

This is a barn located immediately to the east of Galsham Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. The walls are made of small stone rubble, and the roof is covered with scantle slate, hipped to the left and gabled to the right. The barn has a long rectangular shape, with a threshing barn on the left and animal houses, or shippons, on the right, which feature a loft above. The exterior is single storey on the left and two storeys on the right, presenting an asymmetrical front with a wide central cart entrance and three doorways to the right. Inside, there is a 19th-century roof structure.
