Description
This building is a linhay located approximately 15 metres to the south-east of Appleacre, dating from the early 18th century. The rear wall is constructed of cob, with rubble piers at the front. It features a thatched roof that is hipped at the left end and gabled at the right. The linhay has a long rectangular plan and is a single storey structure. The front has four bays, with the three right-hand bays open and supported by rubble piers to the right of centre and at the right-hand end. The left-hand end is divided off and enclosed. Inside, there is a late 18th century to early 19th century roof with straight principals and lapped and pegged collars.
