6/16 Linhay west of Gateshayes - Farmhouse

GV II

Linhay. C18 and C19. Timber frame with cob and brick rear walls and pantile roofs. Attached to rear of Gateshayes Farmhouse (q.v.) Open fronts, partly weatherboarded on four sides facing rectangular yard. The range to the east is probably the oldest (late C18) with uprights morticed into roof trusses.
