Description

This building is a linhay located west of Gateshayes Farmhouse, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber frame with cob and brick walls at the rear, topped with pantile roofs. The linhay has open fronts and is partly weatherboarded on all four sides, facing a rectangular yard. The eastern range is likely the oldest part, dating to the late 18th century, with uprights that are morticed into the roof trusses.
