Description
Manor Cottage is a cottage, believed to have been a farmhouse, likely built in the 18th century. It features whitewashed rendered stone and cob construction with a thatched roof that is hipped at both ends. The building has two rear lateral stacks, with the left end being slate-hung. The plan is single depth, consisting of three rooms wide, with heated rooms on either side of a passage located to the right of the center. There is a staircase at the rear of this passage and an additional room at the left end. The cottage is two storeys tall and has an asymmetrical front with three windows that are evenly spaced. The front door, located to the right of the center, leads into the passage and is sheltered by a porch canopy supported by carved brackets. The first floor has three 2-light casement windows, each with six panes per light, while the ground floor has three 3-light casement windows, also with six panes per light. The interior has not been inspected.
