Description
Jennings Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone and cob, topped with a thatch roof featuring brick stacks at both ends. The building probably originally had a two-room layout with a central through-passage, although the entrance is now located at the left-hand end.
The cottage is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The windows are from the 19th or 20th century, featuring two 2-light casements with six panes per light above, followed by a plank door, another 2-light casement with eight panes per light, an eight-paned single light that has been inserted in a former doorway, and two additional 2-light casements with eight panes per light, which retain their original hinges on the right-hand window. The interior has not been inspected.
