Description
Bloomfield Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with some brick and features a thatched roof with a brick stack at the right gable end. The cottage has a through-passage and a single large room to the right. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are from the 19th or 20th century, with two-light casements having three panes per light to the left and two with six panes per light to the right. There is a two-panelled door at the left end, which is sheltered by a corrugated iron pentice roof, with two-light casements of eight panes per light on each side and a two-light casement of six panes per light to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
