Description

WESTLEIGH WESTLEIGH SS 42 NE 3/148 Rock Cottage GV II Cottage. Probably early C18. Rendered stone and some cob. Thatch roof with gable ends. Axial stone stack with tapered cap, heightened in brick. C20 alterations have obscured original plan, now 2 rooms divided by stack, the whole range being slightly cranked. 1 1/2 storeys. 2 window range. 2 light casement 6 panes per light and 12 paned light at right end above two 2 light casements, 6 panes per light to left 8 panes per light to right with timber lintel. Buttress to right. Two C20 doors to rear. Interior altered in C20. Single roughly chamfered beam to room to right.
