Description
The entrance wall and gate piers to the east of Yannon Towers were built in 1851 and are made of granite. The flanking walls are approximately 3 meters high and curve forward for about 8 meters, ending in square-section piers that have stepped pyramidal caps and pintles where former gates were located. In the center of each flanking wall, there are blocked openings featuring chamfered voussoirs that form flat arches. It is noted that the right-hand gate pier is leaning at an angle.
