Description
Haven Lodge is a small house built around the early 19th century, with later extensions from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building features rendered rubble walls and a gable-ended slate roof, with rendered rubble and brick stacks at each gable end. It has a double depth plan, with a central entrance hall and a principal heated room on either side at the front, while smaller service rooms are located behind. The right-hand end has a later 19th-century extension, and there is a 19th or 20th-century extension at the rear. The house is two storeys tall and has a regular three-window facade, featuring original 16-pane hornless sash windows and a 19th-century panelled door at the centre. The windows are adorned with small 20th-century decorative hoods above. The interior has not been inspected.
