Description

This is a windmill located in Kingskerswell, likely dating from the 18th century. It features battered red sandstone rubble walls, but the roof has not survived. The windmill has a circular plan and was probably originally three storeys high, with one room on each floor. It remains standing up to the height of the second storey. There are infrequent openings with flat arches above, and some of the ground floor openings have been blocked. The interior has not been inspected but is believed to be gutted. Historical records indicate that the windmill was still in use in 1838 and became redundant by 1935.
