Description
The remains of a windmill, dating from the 17th century, are located in Padstow. The structure consists of a stone rubble, battered base of a circular windmill tower, which has been capped in the 20th century with a water tank. The walls are thick and taper as they rise, and the building stands two storeys high. On the ground floor, there is a dressed stone arched entrance, while the first floor features two opposing arched lancet windows.
