Description
The Pig's Trough and Treveglos Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now divided into a house and restaurant, dating from the early 19th century, though it likely has earlier origins. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate roof with hipped ends and brick end stacks. The overall plan is 'L' shaped and is unusually three storeys high. The front range consists of a two-room layout with a central entrance, while there is a wing to the rear left, also with a two-room plan, likely containing a staircase in the angle between the two ranges. The exterior has a symmetrical three-window front with brick segmental arches. The central entrance is located on the ground floor, with steps leading up to a central entrance on the first floor. The ground floor has two 20th-century windows, while the first floor features two 19th-century double sash windows, and the second floor has three 19th-century double sash windows. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
