Description

Nos 46 and 48 on Fore Street are 18th century buildings that have been altered. They are three stories high and rendered, featuring three flush frame sash windows on the upper floors, which have glazing bars, although the lower sash glazing bars are missing from two windows on the first floor left. The buildings have an enriched bracket eaves cornice and mid to late 19th century shop fronts. There is a wide arched passage in the center that leads to Coronet Place. Nos 42 to 84 (even), No 92, and The Shambles are part of the same group.
