Description
Nos 52 and 54 on Fore Street are a building from the 18th century that has been altered or may date to the early 19th century. This three-storey structure features three flush frame sash windows, although most of the glazing bars are missing. The exterior is plastered and painted, with flank pilasters, a band on the first floor, and a wooden eaves cornice. The ground floor has been converted into modern shops, and there is a central passage leading to Khartoum Place. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 42 to 84 (even), No 92, and The Shambles.
