Description

Nos 62 and 64 on Fore Street are likely 18th-century buildings that have been altered. They were originally one structure and feature plastered walls with a painted finish. The eaves cornice has an ogee bracket design that follows the line of two bow windows on the upper floors. The left windows retain their glazing bars, while the right windows have been modified to splay bays and only have glazing bars in the center. Each upper floor has an altered center sash window. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 42 to 84 (even), No 92, and The Shambles.
