Description

Nos 41 and 43 on Fore Street are a pair of late 18th century buildings that stand three stories tall and feature a three-window front. The second floor has three flush frame sash windows with glazing bars. The two lower floors have splayed bay windows. There is a well-crafted fluted cornice at the eaves. The ground floor is currently used as shops and has sheet glass. The entrances are centrally recessed and lead through a central way. These buildings are part of a group that includes the Anchor Hotel and the Evangelical Church.
