Description
Number 35 on Fore Street is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century. It is three stories tall and features a painted stucco exterior with rusticated quoin details on the right side. The roof is slate and hipped. On the second floor, there is a three-light flush casement window with glazing bars. The first floor has a canted splay bay window, also with glazing bars and a slate roof. The ground floor has a modern shop front. To the east, there is a three-story wing that includes three flush frame sash windows with glazing bars and a central entrance on the south side. This building is part of a group that includes the Anchor Hotel, numbers 7 to 51 (odd), and the Evangelical Church.
