Description

No 29, known as the Bank, is an 18th-century building that has been altered or restored. It is three storeys high and features a rendered and painted exterior. The upper floors have three sash windows, each with architraves and glazing bars. The bank front, likely from the 20th century, includes five fluted Ionic pilasters, casement windows with glazing bars, and an entrance on the right that has a lozenged fanlight. The Bank is part of a group that includes the Anchor Hotel and the Evangelical Church, located on Fore Street.
