Description
Nos 84 and 86 on Market Street are two buildings with a late 18th century to early 19th century facade. The structure is made of red brick and features an eaves cornice and an old tiled roof. It stands three storeys high and has a total of four windows, with the two western windows having glazing bars and all being sash windows. The ground floor has been altered to include a wide shop front from the 19th century, complete with cornices, a frieze, and architraves. The windows on this level now only have vertical glazing bars, and the doors feature rectangular fanlights, with an additional door at the rear. At the back of No 86, there is a timber framed wing that has a brick plinth and box framing with braces.
