Description
No 32, known as the Bank, is a building located on the west side of Fore Street. It was likely constructed mainly in the mid to late 19th century and stands three stories tall. The second floor features a gabled design with a 4-light window and ball finials. The upper floors are made of stone with fine dressings, and there are four sash windows on the first floor, each set in arched recesses and featuring glazing bars. The ground floor is finished in ashlar and includes three mullion transom casements along with an arched entrance that has a mullioned fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 4 to 32 (even) and the Roman Catholic Church.
