Description

These are a pair of late 18th-century buildings on High Street. They are constructed of painted brick and have a three-window facade over three storeys. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. Splayed, projecting bays are visible on the first and second floors to the left and right, with painted boarded fronts that replicate the appearance of stone courses and containing sash windows. A central first-floor window is an oblong sash window, while the central second-floor window is square. A moulded wooden cornice projects outwards, concealing a leaded gutter. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles. Second-floor sash windows have glazing bars. There is a yard entrance located between numbers 88 and 90. Numbers 86 to 92, inclusive, form a cohesive group.
