Description

No. 8 on London Road is a late 18th-century building featuring painted tile-hanging. It has two storeys, with eaves and a gutter. The roof is a half-hipped mansard design, covered with tiles and includes three flat-roofed leaded dormers. The ground floor has a shop front with a wide entablature band above, which supports a shop sign, and a stucco base. There are three 18th-century sash windows with glazing bars, and a ridge stack is located to the right. This building, along with No. 6, forms a group.
