Description

Gate Cottage is likely a 19th-century outbuilding, possibly associated with Old Traine and West Cottage. It's a small, free-standing building located at the south end of The Pound House. The cottage is constructed of rubble with slate roofs. It is a single-story building with an attic, featuring five two-light casement windows with segmental heads. A door is situated at the right end. On the south side, there is a glazed conservatory beneath a two-light casement window with a segmental head. The building is included on the list for its group value.
