Description

Rock House is a small cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble and cob, with a half-hipped thatched roof and a stack at the right end. Originally, the cottage may have comprised two rooms, but it is now a single cell. The cottage is two storeys high. The front elevation has two 2-light casements above sash windows with 2 panes, to the left, and a 2-light casement with 4 panes in each light to the right of a 20th-century door, which has a corrugated iron and wood canopy. A lean-to addition at the left end, built of rubble and with a corrugated asbestos roof, includes a 2-light casement to the left of a half-glazed door.
