Description

The Retreat is a small cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed of rendered cob with a hipped thatch roof and a brick stack on the left side. The cottage is almost square in plan and has two storeys. It features a 2-light casement window with two panes per light above a 19th-century 2-light casement window with eight panes per light. There is a lean-to porch with a tiled roof and a half-glazed door. The rear of the cottage has no outshuts.
