Description

Rosemary Cottage is a small 18th-century cottage located on the west side of Chapel Street in Georgeham. The building is constructed from colourwashed rendered rubble and cob, topped with a thatch roof that is half-hipped at the right end. There is a rubble stack with a brick shaft at the left gable end. The cottage features a 1½ room plan and is two storeys high, with a two-window range. The windows are 19th-century two-light timber casements, each with six panes, positioned above two-light casements with two panes per light. These flank a plank door that is sheltered by a wooden canopy. At the rear, there is a pantiled outshut.
