SS 43 NW GEORGEHAM COMBAS LANE (east side) Croyde 6/122 Combas Farmhouse -

Farmhouse, Cl7. Colourwashed rendered rubble and cob. Slate roof with gable ends. Brick stack at left gable end, rubble stack with tapering cap heightened in brick to right and large projecting lateral hall stack, heightened in brick to rear with offsets and small rounded bread oven. 3 cell through-passage plan, the rear doorway now blocked. 2 storeys. 4-window range of 2-light casements, from left the first and third casements have 4 panes to left and 6 panes to right, the second and fourth have 4 panes each light. C20 casements to ground floor, 2 and 3-lights with off-centre C20 door. C20 barred wood fenestration to rear. Lower end formerly granary over store-shed, the granary now converted into part of dwelling with corrugated asbestos roof. Plank door with timber lintel. Interior much altered.
