Description

The bridge at the location 030108 is a Grade II listed structure that carries a minor road over the former Bristol and Exeter Railway, which is now part of the Western Region main line. This section of the railway opened in 1844 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The bridge is constructed of brick and features stone coping. It has a single elliptical arch set in a cutting, with a moulded brick string course, stone coping, and end piers that support the parapet revetment.
