Description
The bridge at ST027101 is a Grade II listed structure that carries a minor road over the former Bristol and Exeter Railway, which is now part of the Western Region main line. This section of the railway opened in 1844 and was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel. The bridge is constructed of brick and features stone coping, a single segmental arch, and a flybridge in a cutting. It has end piers that support the parapet and a moulded brick stringcourse.
