Description
No. 8 St Lawrence Green is a house that likely dates from the 1850s. It has a roughcast exterior and a slate roof, with a brick chimney stack at the left end. The building rises three storeys and features a one-window front, with deep eaves supported by paired moulded eaves brackets. There is a lateral stack at the rear. The façade has plain vertical bands, likely made of cement, and all openings are framed with similar plain architraves. To the extreme right, there is a blocked doorway, while the extreme left has a recessed half-glazed panelled door from the 20th century. Each storey is fitted with one 20-pane hornless sash window. The interior has not been inspected but may contain interesting features. The house has group value with other buildings along St Lawrence Green.
