Description
75 High Street is a house that was likely used as a shop at some point. It probably dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brick, which is painted white, and has a slate roof. The chimney stack features a brick shaft with old pots.
The house has a plan that is two rooms wide with a central entrance. It stands two storeys tall and has a slightly asymmetrical front with two windows. The entrance is a six-panel front door located slightly to the left of centre, recessed beneath a segmental arch. To the left on the ground floor is a 16-pane hornless sash window, while to the right is an enlarged six-pane sash window, which was probably a former shop window. On the first floor, there are two matching 16-pane hornless sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
