Description
No. 87 is a house located in Clovelly, likely built in the mid-19th century, although parts of the building may be older. The exterior is rendered and whitewashed, topped with a slate roof that has gabled ends. There is a brick stack rising from the eaves on the left side of the front and a brick ridge stack on the right. A small gablet is supported by brackets. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a symmetrical three-bay front. On the first floor, there are two-light, four-pane 19th-century casements, while the ground floor features two projecting 19th-century bay windows with one, four, and one lights, all covered by hipped slated roofs. The central door opening contains a 19th-century four-panelled door with a lean-to hood. The property includes an elevated forecourt with a rubble base, topped with slate slabs and surrounded by iron railings. The interior has not been inspected.
