11/27 No 15 with forecourt wall 20.2.58 GV II
House. Dated on a stone plaque to the frontage, 1896. Randon white rubble, gabled slate roof, end brick stack on the right. Plan : single room width with entrance hall to one side. Exterior: 2 storeys, 2 bays, 2-light mullioned and transomed casements with square- paned leaded lights, boxed out bay window with a hipped slate roof in a similar style to the right of the ground floor. Door opening to the left, C19 4-panelled door, reused C18 cambered hood with a moulded edge on C18 wood brackets. Elevated raised forecourt with a rubble retaining wall, some slate capping, some concrete capping, iron railings. 7 steps up to the door with slate treads and half-round nosings. Door to basement under forecourt, plank door. Interior: with late C19 joinery.
