Description
A pair of houses located in Tiverton, dating from the 1820s. The houses are constructed of Flemish bond brick with a slate roof and cast-iron rainwater goods. They are arranged as a mirror plan pair, with number 27 slightly projecting forward.
The exterior is three storeys high. Each house has a pilastered doorcase with a cornice and fielded panelled reveals, containing a six-panel door with fielded panels and a fanlight with spoke glazing bars. All windows are double-hung sashes with moulded architraves, and one has been reglazed with a four-pane horned sash. Both houses retain old fire insurance signs.
The interior was not inspected, but may contain features of architectural interest.
