Description

These are a pair of houses located in Chapel Row, Sadberge, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a renewed pantiled roof and rebuilt brick chimney stacks. Each house is two storeys high and two bays wide, with No. 4 situated on the left. The windows are arranged under tall, rubbed-brick flat arches. The houses have replaced front doors in a central pair and replaced 16-pane sash windows with projecting stone sills. Stepped eaves courses are visible. The continuous roof features concrete coping on the right and half-round tile coping in the centre. A chimney stack is present at each end. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
