Description

Thorn Cottage is a cottage, likely dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick, with the ground floor rendered and the upper floor roughcast. The roof is tiled with pantiles, and features a rebuilt brick chimney stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has one bay. A chamfered band runs between the two storeys. There are two openings on the ground floor: a replaced door on the left and a horizontal-sliding sash window on the right. Above, there is a 12-pane horizontal-sliding sash window. The eaves are cogged, and the roof is steeply pitched. A chimney stack is located on the right end of the building.
