Description

White Cottage and White House is a cottage, likely dating from the 18th century and altered in the early 19th century. It has a rendered exterior with a pantiled roof and brick chimneys. The cottage is single-storied and consists of five bays. A 20th-century half-glazed door, set within a raised surround, is located in the left bay, and a plank door, also in a similar surround, is in the fourth bay. Sixteen-pane sash windows are set within matching surrounds. The roof is steeply pitched with two end stacks and one ridge stack. Internally, old beams are visible.
