Description
No 1 St Cuthbert's Square is an 18th-century house located on Holy Island. It is constructed of random rubble with an old pantiled roof and features brick chimneys. The building has two storeys and two bays. On the left side, there is a plank door that is sheltered by a 19th-century triangular wooden hood. Above the door, there is a small four-pane sash window, and to the right, there are two twelve-pane sash windows. The roof is steeply pitched with a gable on the left that has thin raised coping and a reverse stepped gable. Additionally, there is a large square ridge stack, with the upper part having been rebuilt.
