Description

Bawburgh View Cottages are a pair of 18th-century cottages located on the south side of St. Cuthbert's Square in Holy Island. They are constructed from whinstone rubble and feature a pantiled roof. Each cottage is single-storey and consists of two bays. The front of each cottage includes one plank door with an overlight and 12-pane sash windows. The cottages have alternating quoins and distinctive surrounds for the doors and windows. They also have a gabled roof with flat coping on the left side and a small old brick gable stack.
